1. Soil additives such as sand or calcined clay that are not carbon-based, used to improve physical and chemical properties of soil including drainage and retention of water and nutrients. See also organic amendments.
This is an example of an inorganic amendment. It is Sand.
This is another example and it is of calcined clay.
