1. The area of the hold being played which is specially prepared for putting or otherwise defined such by the Committee. A ball is deemed to be on the putting green when any part of it touches the putting green. Putting greens are mowed between 5/32nds and 5/16ths of an inch, depending upon the turf quality desired.<br>
